My Honda Boys

IMAG2043IMAG0387As a person who rides a Honda, I may have a bias opinian towards Honda riders. With that said, my favorite riders are Trey Canard and Jessy Nelson, who both ride Hondas. Trey Canard is a 450 factory rider for the Honda Muscle Milk team . Jessy Nelson is a 250 rider for the Troy Lee Designs racing team. Both athletes are aggressive on the track, but also very down-to-earth in person. They take the time to really interact with the fans, which is a big reason why I love watching them on the track. Trey and Jessy may not be “Number 1” on the track, but they are to me based on their actions off the track.

2013 AMA Supercross

blog 1Looking back on the 2013 AMA Supercross season a lot of things have happened. With the 450 class having crowned a champion, Ryan Villopoto, I thinks it’s time to do a recap of the season. Things did not start out great for Villopoto as he finished in 16th place out of twenty riders at the season opener in Anaheim, CA. The winner of the race was Davi Millsaps, which was a surprise to a lot of race fans. Second place was Trey Canard, who was up there battling for the win against Davi. Trey was also a surprise to fans as he had suffered a terrible crash the previous season, and it was unsure that he would ever race again. Ryan Dungey came in third place which was a respectable finish for a previous champion. The way the 450 class season started out was unexpected to many, and it just goes to show that anything can happen in supercross.
